In an October 2017 article titled “More investors turn to farmland, debt strategies” by Arleen Jacobius, farmland continues to garner strong inward capital flows with institutional tax-exempt investments increasing their exposure by 11.1% this year. The article also states that worldwide farmland assets grew by 10.2%, and worldwide timber assets were up 1.3% to $31.8 billion.
